Sixth Plate Tintype | This nicely composed tintype probably dates to the 1870s. Sulkies, horse-drawn conveyances with two large wheels, are quite uncommon in photographs of their era (compared to four wheel wagons and carriages). Could have been used for racing. Measures 2 1/4 inches by 3 1/8 inches. Some light bends. Image #T-02; price on request.
